It was my hubby's birthday on 15th, so we dicided to eat out. We went to "Izakaya" Japanese style pub where we can eat and drink. Food comes out in small portions, so we can order various dishes and enjoy different flavours.

There were tables and chairs, but we chose Ozasiki, cushions on Tatami mats.

We have ordered a lot, but I forgot about taking photos till lots of plates were empty because we were so hungry! Our favourit was Sashimi (slices of raw fish) of Toro(fatty parts of tuna), and deep fried minced pork and chinese cabbage wrapped in a skin of horse raddish!

After we ate , Viz made a request of ordering a prawn which was in one of the menu book's photos.

This was brought to our table.

Where is the prawn....? hmmm, It`s under the brown dish.

Yes, it`s still alive and pinned under the dish so it can't escape!

After the prawn had a lap dance on Viz, Viz finally got hold of it.
And then.... sorry, things get bit violent here..... Viz twisted its neck off from body!

Viz is now working on its body to peel off shells and legs....while it`s still twiching!


After he enjoyed its meat, he got out the scissors for the sausages and started to cut the head open.
It`s too cruel, I can`t show this in a clear picture.....!!!

When we came out of the room, there was a tank of water which had a Yo-Yo-( a little balloon, half filled with water. and it`s got rubber band so you can hook that on your finger and bounce up and down.) to fish.

Viz was fishing up yo-yo with the hook attached on a thin paper ribbon. When paper gets wet it becomes weak and breaks, then game is over.
